Our organic artisanal soap factory index
Our crafts anchorage under Nature and Progress in a few words.
Since 2006, the Savonnerie Saponaire has been offering you artisanal soaps with the Nature & Progrès certification. Our soaps, which are cold saponified, are made from vegetable oils, essential oils, milks, all from organic farming most often from local and fair trade production, without any synthesis additive in accordance with the specifications for Nature and Progress. The beautiful colors of our soaps are obtained with natural ingredients, powder and extract from organic plants, clays, charcoal.
In the heart of the warm bastide of Monflanquin in Lot-et-Garonne, we joyfully handcraft our artisanal cold-process soaps, care products, and cosmetics with the Nature & Progrès certification. You may even see us in full production when you come to discover our little shop under the arcades. Indeed, our laboratory is right behind the sales area in a glass-enclosed space.
In our soap factory, we make all our soaps, bath powders, massage oils, deodorants, balms, toothpastes, and laundry detergents on-site in our little "soap kitchen". We are always happy to offer you new products, such as a wider range of massage oils with and without essential oils, hair lotions made from organic hydrosols, and even more beautiful soaps.
We work without controversial raw materials, adhering strictly to the Nature & Progrès "Cosmétics" guidelines. We are committed to working as much as possible with local producers of raw materials, such as for prune kernel oil, hemp oil, sunflower oil, and rapeseed oil. For essential oils, we prioritize French organic productions. For products that must be imported, such as shea butter, coconut oil, castor oil, cocoa butter, and some essential oils, we favor fair trade. The goat milk comes from our friends Bénédicte and Rémi at La Ferme du Tendou in Parranquet (Lot-et-Garonne), and the donkey milk from the Baunel farm in La Chapelle Bertrand (Deux-Sèvres). These two farms represent what we consider to be the best in terms of animal welfare.
We look forward to welcoming you to our little artisanal soap factory.
See you soon.
Your soap makers, Géraldine, Faustine, Louise, and Fabrice.
