A Purifying Soap-Shampoo for Reactive Scalps

The idea behind the Sylvain soap-shampoo arose from a desire to create a product for sensitive and reactive scalps, especially for hair that may become slightly oily as a reaction to washing. Like our entire range, this soap-shampoo is certified by Nature & Progrès. It is entirely crafted and produced in our soap workshop, using plant oils selected for their quality, benefits, and ethical sourcing. This soap is created through cold saponification, a traditional method that preserves natural glycerin and ensures superfat soaps that are effective, rich, and soothing. As with our entire soap-shampoo range, it is formulated with a refined and complex approach.

We named this soap “Sylvain” in reference to Silvanus, the Roman god of forests and fields, often associated with plants and nature, symbolizing the richness of plant powders it contains. Enriched with rosemary, nettle, paprika, and rhassoul, this soap-shampoo is designed to help relieve the scalp from excess sebum, sometimes simply triggered by washing. Formulated with a complex superfat level of over 6%, it nourishes the skin and scalp without leaving them greasy.

A Calming and Purifying Blend of Organic Ingredients

Argan and grape seed oils, rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, provide deep nutrition while strengthening the skin barrier. Raw shea butter gives a creamy texture and long-lasting hydration, while castor oil enhances the flexibility of both skin and hair.

Plants are at the heart of the formula: nettle powder is known for its purifying and strengthening properties, particularly suitable for oily hair. Rhassoul, a Moroccan volcanic clay, absorbs excess sebum without drying out the skin. As for rosemary, it tones the scalp and stimulates hair growth.

With a natural soap scent, subtle and comforting, Sylvain is suitable for daily use, for both washing and shampooing, with no essential oils, making it suitable for all scalps, even the most reactive, and for all ages.
